Baig’s Grill in Brampton
It’s not everyday we’re invited to a new restaurant opened up by one of our Halal Food Fest TO chefs!
Chef Ahmed Baig has been a long time supporter of our festival by being one of our official chefs – offering demonstrations, being a judge and consulting with our team with his culinary expertise. And now he has his very own restaurant — Baig’s Grill in Brampton.
The cuisine is South Asian, and as the name suggests, specializes in grilled foods like kebabs. But the tightly kept menu has lots more to offer without flipping through pages and pages — from aromatic biryani to creamy desserts.
The interior is bright, clean and tidy with lots of seating. You can easily bring a large family and have everyone sit together.
We visited during their soft launch so we were served from a temporary menu while they were perfecting their recipes.
