Toronto Ramadan Restaurant Iftar and Suhoor Guide 2017

Our Ramadan Restaurant Iftar and Suhoor Guide for 2017 is here!

Ramadan Restaurant Iftar

To help get you get prepared, we’re bringing back our Toronto Ramadan Restaurant Iftar Guide!

Our Toronto Ramadan Restaurant iftar and Suhoor Guide is back by popular demand!

Several years ago, we introduced a guide on halal restaurants in and around the GTA open for Ramadan, and provided the following details: hours, iftar plates availables, any Ramadan specials, masjids near by/prayer area available, and special hours. We received such great feedback year after year, and so many messages to bring it back this year!

However, it’s a busy time for us all and we may have missed a restaurant or two – so please email us at info@halalfoodie.ca if we forgot any!

Just a note of caution, like all of our reviews, we don’t claim halal status or certification for any restaurant. We are Muslims who love food and share our opinions while trying our best to adhere to halal regulations. As usual, we try not to promote places that aren’t fully halal (read more here). Please always do your OWN investigating before eating at any of the places listed below in the Ramadan Restaurant iftar Guide or anywhere else on our site.

  • Went to Flavors Cafe for suhoor/breakfast the other day and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. The service was excellent (I was fairly grumpy having been woken up from a nap around 1:30 AM) and the food was perfect. My husband can’t stop raving about it to everyone he runs into. We plan to make Saturday AM suhoors a tradition for the rest of Ramadan!

  • Nafi Haque on July 20, 2013

You should add ‘Suko Thai’ in the list. There are two locations in downtown of this restaurant.

    • The one on Front is halal, the other one is not.

    • Halal Foodie on July 2, 2015

Unfortunately both locations serve alcohol so can not add them to this list.

As always very informative. And hats off to the brothers and sisters who are not only fasting but also providing us with awesome food choices. May Allah SWT grant them barakah in their Rizq and help them to be able to do their ibadah in this blessed month. To all reviewers kindly be positive. If there is anything that you were not happy with please approach the restaurant owner/manager. I am sure they would truly appreciate it. Month of mercy. So be forgiving too.
