Rainbow Chili Recipe
This Rainbow Chili Recipe can be enjoyed year-round but my family loves when I make it during the colder months. I make my first batch of chili as soon as the weather dips below 15 degrees because it warms me right up!
1 can of crushed tomatoes
1 can of corn
1 can of kidney beans
1 onion (diced)
1 red pepper (diced)
1 green pepper (diced)
1 pack of taco seasoning
Dash of salt, pepper, chili flakes
1 pound ground beef
Cook the ground beef in a skillet, I always add a bit of the taco seasoning for flavour. I would also recommend using a bit of ginger and garlic. Once the ground beef is fully cooked, turn off the stove or put it aside.
Open all the cans and throw everything inside, into the slow cooker.
Mix it up and then add the diced vegetables in, followed by the ground beef.
Throw in any taco seasoning, salt, pepper and spices you wish to add. Leave it on low for 8 hours
Make a batch of garlic bread to accompany the chili. You can also top off some French fries to make chill fries, or throw it on some tortilla chips for a great batch of nachos!
